Once I was travelling through a forest when a jinn came infront of me and stood at a distance of 20 foot away from me. At that time I began to recite ayat ul kursi and when there was only 1 foot distance left between us, the jinn disappeared and although I had perspired a lot due to fear, I had not been harmed in any way. Also if someone takes permission from a devoted Muslim teacher/scholar, then reciting ayat ul kursi 1.25 lakh times can ensure protection along with numerous benefits.

Also one person who kept snakes (saparay) told me that if a person recites this

  - Saffaat 79- سَلٰمٌ عَلٰی نُوْحٍ فِی الْعٰلَمِیْنَ  snakes will not come in the path in his path. I also tested this personally and this event has a bit of a background which I would send to you if you require it. (Bashir Ahmad, Rawalpindi)
